He made headlines for a tongue-in-cheek comment about a mudslide in Fairmont, B.C. and now Alberta’s deputy premier is being invited to help clean up.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is proving it has a sense of humour. Resort officials have invited Thomas Lukaszuk to stay for free at the resort, and say they’re even throwing in a free shovel.
Plugging the resort’s new 2-for-1 offer, sales director Marke Dickson said, “Everyone makes mistakes and we understand the Deputy Premier was in hot water with his boss, Premier Redford, so we thought we’d help him out.”
